Introducing the updated and revamped AT&T Secure Family Companion®, a valuable tool for parents to safeguard their children in both the digital and physical realms. By installing the Secure Family Companion app on your child's device, you gain the ability to locate your family members and manage your child's screen time and online content through the Secure Family parent app.

Features of the Companion App include:

<ul>
 <li>Family Location: With adult permission, children can access a map view displaying the location of family members.</li>
 <li>Rewards: Parents have the option to reward their child with additional screen time for good behavior.</li>
 <li>SOS Alert: In times of trouble, children can send an instant Alert to all family members with a press of a button.</li>
 <li>Countdown Timer: Provides children with visibility into how much time is remaining until internet access is blocked or resumes.</li>
 <li>Usage Summary: Children can view their top websites and apps to help them develop healthy digital habits.</li>
</ul>

Please note that AT&T Secure Family Companion is free but requires the purchase of AT&T Secure Family, available on the App Store for $7.99/month. This subscription supports up to 10 family members and a total of 30 devices. The service will automatically renew every 30 days unless cancelled. To utilize AT&T Secure Family, you must download two apps: the AT&T Secure Family App (for adults, parents, or guardians) and the AT&T Secure Family Companion App (for children).

The AT&T Secure Family App allows parents to locate their family members' devices, including children, and manage their screen time and online content access. It is available at a monthly cost of $7.99.

AT&T Secure Family Companion App is designed to work in conjunction with AT&T Secure Family, and it is a free app available on the App Store. Simply install it on your child's device and pair it with your own device to access all the features of Secure Family.

If you are an AT&T Postpaid Wireless customer billed by AT&T via myAT&T:

<ul>
 <li>You can view, modify, or cancel your subscription at any time within the app.</li>
 <li>Please be aware that AT&T does not offer credits or refunds for partial months.</li>
</ul>

If you are an AT&T PREPAID wireless customer billed through the App Store:

<ul>
 <li>Refer to Apple's policies regarding cancellation in the App Store at <a href="https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202039">https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202039</a>.</li>

In general:

 <li>Only authorized app users have permission to locate a family member using the app.</li>
 <li>The Secure Family App and Secure Family Companion App require iOS v.13 or higher.</li>
 <li>Continued use of GPS running in the background can reduce battery life.</li>
 <li>Please note that there is a compatibility conflict preventing the addition of AT&T Secure Family Companion to a companion device if AT&T ActiveArmor Advanced Mobile Security is already running on that device. If you wish to proceed with the purchase, you must either remove AT&T ActiveArmor Advanced Mobile Security or downgrade to AT&T ActiveArmor Mobile Security on the companion device before adding AT&T Secure Family Companion.</li>
